What is Roland “Designed the Future” (again*) ….
So I made some suggestions to expand the Roland Boutique JX-03 Synthesizer, in a Virtual way…
What it there was a:
CM-002 – Cross Mode Mixer – CutOff Freq + Resonace or Source mix + Decay • Vintage Pitch Bender
• Vintage LFO Trigger • Octave Up/Down
PE-002 – Preset Expander Store up to 3x 32 preset
MS-002 – Matrix Sequencer – 12 x 16-Step Sequencer Patterns
GP-002 – Graphic Programmer – Up to 8 Voice Expander unit
PB-002 – Pandora Box – All hidden features
K-50m – Split-Level keyboard. In total: 4 octaves / 2x 25 keys (based on the K-25m)
Just for nostalgic feelings. I made these extensions for the Roland JX-03 Synthesizer.
The missing Graphic Block.
As an ode to the old Roland JX-3P that I once owned. Together with the PG-200. On the old Roland JX-3P there was a huge space on the right side of this synthesizer. It contained a graphical representation of the layout of the optional PG-200 Hardware editor. So I made this version for the Roland Boutique JX-03 Synthesizer, in a Virtual way…
GP-002 – Graphic Programmer – Up to 8 Voice Expander unit.
Maybe the unit can include a Voice Expansion Kit. Let’s say 8 Extra Voice. So you have 12 Voices for your Roland JX-03. Wouldn’t that be great?

PE-002 | Program Expander Unit.
The PE-002 unit: So what if your JX-03 had an external unit to store more presets. Will it look like this? 3x 32 preset that’s 96 extra (so 112 in total (16+96)).
Made it just for fun. So they don’t exist in the real world. Only virtual!
